Security Solutions Overview Vital protection for your cards — and your organization As the threat of fraud, theft and terrorism looms large, today’s counterfeiters are more advanced than ever. The proliferation of digital printing technology has made forging legitimate-looking ID cards all too easy. That’s why you need Fargo. Our Secure (200 dpi resolution) and High-Secure (1,200 dpi resolution) holographic images provide a powerfully effective means of deterring ID card counterfeiters and securing your organization. Fargo Visual Security Solutions are available as Holographic Foil Cards, Holographic Overlaminates and Holographic HDP® Film. Each lets you combine a range of standard and custom Visual Security Elements (VSEs) that make cards easy to authenticate, but nearly impossible to forge or alter. Three visual security levels to meet your needs Fargo VSEs provide the building blocks and flexibility necessary to design a visually secure ID card. Choose from the following levels of custom-designed VSEs based on your security needs: • Level 1: Overt (two VSEs minimum). Overt VSEs are visible to the human eye and designed to make ID authentication easy to verify. • Level 2: Covert (one VSE minimum). Covert VSE cannot be read by the human eye without a peripheral device to interpret and visualize. • Level 3: Forensic (one VSE minimum). Forensic VSEs are the most difficult for a counterfeiter to detect – requiring extraordinary efforts to reveal and replicate.
Overt VSEs act as sophisticated visible deterrents. They discourage
replication and help to provide instant authentication.

Holographic Foil Cards Affordable, tamper-evident security for non-laminated cards Fargo HoloMark™ Cards and VeriMark™ Cards come with a tamper-evident, instantly verifiable security foil that is permanently embedded onto your cards for added security and sophistication. These embedded foils give organizations without card lamination equipment a cost-effective means of introducing overt Secure or High-Secure visual security features onto their ID cards. For comprehensive card security, you can layer your Holographic Foil Card with a Fargo High-Secure Holographic Overlaminate. HoloMark: A custom 3D image in a high-resolution hologram On non-laminated cards, Fargo Custom and Standard HoloMark Cards provide a high level protection against ID counterfeiting, by turning a standard graphic or one of your choice into a hologram permanently embedded onto your cards. HoloMark Cards are available in both High-Secure and Secure holography. VeriMark: Affordably add your custom graphic to a 2D foil Durable and distinctive, Fargo VeriMark Cards are the ideal way to add personalized visual security with minimum cost and delivery time. Using a precise hot stamp process, we’ll embed your organization’s logo and other custom graphics with our Secure holography onto a silver metallic foil, producing an easy-to-verify visual counterfeit deterrent.

Holographic Overlaminates The new level of deterrence for the new era of security The need for a higher level of card identity security is greater than ever. Fargo Holographic Overlaminates provide a formidable, multi-level solution that uses multiple covert and/or forensic Secure and High-Secure Visual Security Elements (VSEs). When combined, these elements help to produce a complex, fraud-resistant ID card that will frustrate the most diligent and determined counterfeiters. Standard and custom design options You can add up to eight standard and custom VSEs to protect your cards, along with “registering” your holographic image so it is located in exactly the same position on every personalized card. The result? An ID card that is extremely difficult to forge but easy for you to authenticate.
